Purpose: Provide general clerical and administrative support to Development and Communications and Administration departments.
Qualifications: High School diploma or GED plus two-years’ related office experience or equivalent combination of education/experience; previous experience with fundraising or event planning preferred; excellent communication, customer service, problem resolution, and organizational skills; effective use of word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, database management, and e-mail software, preferably Microsoft Office; type 50 wpm accurately; valid driver’s license/safe driving record preferred. Experience with publishing and/or fundraising software a plus. Ability to exhibit flexibility in work schedule, work independently and with others as a member of a team, maintain confidentiality, effectively provide excellent customer service to a diverse audience of existing and prospective contributors, and prioritize multiple activities under stressful conditions; ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.
