Therapeutic Apherisis Services
The goal of therapeutic apheresis is to reduce the load of pathogenic substances in the patient’s plasma or to reduce the number of abnormal cellular elements in the patient’s blood to levels that allow clinical improvement.
Essentially, Therapeutic Apheresis Nurses work to remove toxic substances from a patient’s blood or plasma and in turn, help to give them a chance at a normal and healthy life.
