This section serves as a “calendar of events” to keep you informed of special events that are, or will be, taking place. Whether it is a special blood drive, a grand opening of a new collection center, or a fundraiser event, we hope you will participate in support of your Inland Northwest Blood Center.

HOLIDAY BLOOD DRIVE – GIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE!

Holiday GiftsINBC will celebrate its annual four-week Holiday Blood Drive from December 16th to January 12th at all mobile drives and in four convenient site locations in Washington and Idaho. Please note our holiday hours specific to each location.

This holiday season give the most important gift one person can give to another – the gift of Life!

Every donor who registers to give blood, platelets or plasma during the four-week Holiday Drive will receive a special “retro” INBC T-shirt and will be entered to win one of three fantastic donor appreciation packages:

  • One week stay at a Royal Aloha Vacation Club Condominium Timeshare (your choice of several outstanding vacation destinations) and a $300 travel voucher. (www.ravc.com)
  • “Night on the Town” get-away package with a one-night stay at the DoubleTree City Center and gift certificates for dinner and entertainment.
  • “Triple Play” get-away package with a one-night stay at Holiday Inn Express in Hayden, Idaho and four passes to the indoor water park “Raptor Reef at Triple Play.”

The need for blood products in our area never takes a holiday!  Each day INBC depends on the generosity of volunteer donors to meet the needs of local patients at more than 35 hospitals and medical centers in our region.

During the holidays, the number of people donating blood products is generally lower than usual.  More people are traveling and find it hard to squeeze in the time to give blood.  In addition, there are traditionally more accidents on the winter roadways.  If you’ve never given blood before, now is your chance to see how simple it can be!

This is your chance to make a difference in your community.  Help save the lives of your friends, family and neighbors – give blood this holiday season!
